Outpath BC 26/27

The Salomon Outpath BC is a unisex backcountry nordic boot built for off-track skiing, where you are breaking your own trail rather than following a groomed track. It comes in Nine Iron, Dune and Black.

Support comes from a 3D Skate injected plastic chassis with a backcountry flex, which gives heel support and torsional rigidity, plus an ergonomic 360 degree cuff with 30 percent glass fiber and a strap that wraps fully around the ankle. The quickLACE Backcountry system is easy to tighten, and sensiFIT holds the foot from the midsole to the lacing.

A waterproof zipper and fully waterproof lace cover keep snow out, a gaiter hook adds protection in deep snow, and a Micro Fleece and Thinsulate R lining adds warmth. The fit is the wide 105mm Backcountry Fit last with a Thermo insole.

The BC outsole uses Contagrip rubber and is made for Salomon's BC Outside bindings, so it will not fit Prolink or other track bindings. It is aimed at intermediate and advanced skiers.

For ungroomed trails, touring loops and deep snow days, the Outpath BC is a warm, supportive boot that makes backcountry nordic skiing more fun.
