S/Lab Shift² 10 MN 26/27

Shift² is Salomon's second-generation hybrid binding: a pin toe for touring and a proper alpine heel for the descent. The S/Lab Shift² 10 MN has a 4 to 10 DIN range, a Power Block AFD with a single-block aluminium insert for 30% more lateral stiffness, a hybrid toe with elastic travel and XL wings, a sliding toe pedal and a hybrid heel with an aluminium lever. It is built from carbon-infused polyamide, aluminium and steel.

This is the binding for skiers who want one setup for resort and backcountry. It is heavier than a pure tech binding and far easier to trust on a firm inbounds day, with a low chassis for good snow feel.

It is for intermediate skiers and lighter skiers who want the Shift concept at a lower release range. Stronger, heavier skiers should look at the 13.

Salomon lists skier weights from 108 to 220.5 lbs. Pick a brake a little wider than your ski's waist, and we will mount and set the DIN for you. The toe accepts dedicated crampons.
