Salomon Warden 13 MNC Binding

The Salomon Warden 13 MNC is an alpine binding with a 4 to 13 DIN release range and a 24.5mm stand height. Its U-Power Compact Toe is low profile and MNC (Multi Norm Compatible), built directly into its platform for solidity and power transmission, with manual toe height adjustment. Out back you get an Easy Step-In heel and self-retracting freeski brakes, all on a low profile chassis with a 71mm oversized platform.

The honest trade-off is that it is rated for advanced to expert skiers, so newer skiers who will never need a DIN up to 13 are better matched with a lighter, lower-range binding.

It is for strong skiers who switch between boot types and want one binding that handles them all with solid lateral power.

Listed compatibility covers Alpine (ISO 5355), GripWalk (ISO 23223), Alpine Touring (ISO 9523), Tech and Walk to Ride soles. The recommended skier weight is 108 to 287 lbs (49 to 130 kg), and the brake should be equal to or at most 15mm wider than your ski waist.

We think it is a great, versatile binding for skiers who want to mount once and run whatever boot fits the day.
