The Scarpa F1 GT Boot fills a much-needed gap in the F1 line up. Ideal for the true human powered enthusiast who is looking for added stiffness without sacrificing weight. It weighs in at a very respectable and light weight at 1240 grams. The Scarpa F1 GT Alpine Touring Boot is streamlined to work best with lightweight skis and bindings. New and improved without a BOA for the instep, the F1 GT provides a slightly higher instep than its predecessor. The cuff is made of Grilamid Fiber Glass LFT that is more customizable than the older F1 LT shell material, meaning you will have full ability for customization without breaching warranty. The F1 GT is also more progressive leading to a more ramped up stiffness while skiing. The Scarpa F1 GT Alpine Touring Boot comes with a two-buckle closure system, along with a Velcro booster strap. The new Wave Lite closure system provides less pressure on the instep, and also allows for a more customized fit over the forefoot. A Speed Lock LT Ski/Walk mechanism gives the F1 GT an impressive 72-degrees of range of motion for touring and is easy to use with just a flick of a lever for walk and ski modes. Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
