The Scarpa Gea RS returns in a completely redesigned form — lighter, stronger, and more sustainable than ever. Built from state-of-the-art, planet-friendly materials, this new generation delivers the perfect blend of uphill efficiency and downhill power. Designed for dedicated backcountry skiers, the Gea RS offers uncompromising performance in a responsive, tour-ready package that’s as comfortable on long climbs as it is confident on technical descents.
A new 102mm last provides improved comfort and precision with a reshaped toe box and heel pocket for a more secure, performance-oriented fit. The Carbon Core technology, integrated into both the Grilamid® Bio shell and Pebax® Rnew cuff, enhances stiffness and energy transfer without adding weight, giving skiers powerful control through every turn. The redesigned cuff also offers a 61-degree range of motion, ensuring efficient, natural strides on the skin track. Paired with a Vibram® Cayman LT outsole for reliable traction and a Speed MLT walk mechanism, the Gea RS moves seamlessly between touring and skiing modes.
Comfort meets capability in the Pro Flex Performance Intuition liner, offering a precise, heat-moldable fit with all-day warmth and support. With its high-performance 120 flex, eco-conscious materials, and proven durability, the Gea RS is built to handle everything from demanding backcountry tours to big mountain objectives.

Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Conversions are approximate and can differ by half a size between brands.
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
