The Gea RS is the women's counterpart to the Maestrale RS and the more powerful sibling of the standard Gea. The updated version pairs a Grilamid shell with a Pebax Rnew cuff for a 125 flex, which SCARPA says is the stiffest in its category, on a 101mm last with women's-specific cuff geometry, Speed Lock 4 walk mode, and a Vibram Cayman LT outsole (ISO 9523).
The trade-off is that it is built for expert skiers. That stiffness is aimed at aggressive descents. For them, the standard Gea at a 100 flex is the friendlier choice.
Buy it if you are a strong backcountry skier who will not choose between power and precision, and whose tours run from icy bootpacks to rocky ridgelines. If you ski the resort as much as you tour, the Women's 4-Quattro GT is built for that split.
Fit comes from the women's-specific Intuition Pro Flex Performance liner, which is thermoformable and shaped to lock the heel in place. Sizing is Mondopoint, and a SCARPA half size shares its shell with the whole size above it.
When the objective is big and the descent is the reward, the Gea RS is exactly the boot we would want on our feet.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Conversions are approximate and can differ by half a size between brands.
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
