The Sidas Ski Race S.E.T. is a heated ski sock with a thin 2 mm heating line that spreads warmth around the toes. It is made from 95% polyamide and 5% elastane, and with Sidas's S-Pack 1400B battery it runs up to 9 hours on level 1, 4 hours 30 minutes on level 2 and 3 hours 30 minutes on level 3.
The trade-off of heated socks is that the battery needs charging and adds a little weight at the cuff. For anyone whose toes go numb on the chair, warm feet all day are more than worth it.
It is for skiers with cold feet, from early-morning lift riders to anyone who dreads January in a ski boot. The thin construction is made to fit inside a snug ski boot.
Sizes run XS through XXL. They are washable once the batteries are removed: turn them inside out, wash by hand or in a net at 30 C or less, spin at 400 rpm or less and dry flat, with no bleach, softener or tumble dryer.
We think the Ski Race S.E.T. is the best fix for cold toes we know of, warm and comfortable from first chair to last.
