The Stanley Easy-Carry Outdoor Cooler is a 16-quart hard cooler from Stanley's Adventure Series. Double-wall foam insulation, which Stanley says is more than twice the foam of a typical cooler, keeps things cold for 36 hours, and it holds 21 cans. It is BPA-free and weighs about 6.6 pounds.
The trade-off is size. Sixteen quarts is built for a day, not a week, so it is the cooler for lunch and drinks rather than a long camping trip. In exchange it is easy to carry with one hand and fits behind a truck seat.
It is for day trips, tailgates, beach afternoons and après in the parking lot. Rugged latches and handle, a leak-resistant gasket and an adjustable bungee system on the lid for strapping down a Stanley bottle cover the essentials.
It measures about 16.7 by 12.8 by 11.2 inches.
We think it is the perfect cooler to toss in the car for a summer day at the lake or a spring corn session at the mountain.
