Super Skin Mohair Mix 66

The Fischer Super Skin Mohair Mix 66 is a full-length 66mm climbing skin for backcountry nordic skis. The plush is a blend of mohair and nylon, and it attaches with a metal hook at the tail and an elastic strap at the tip for a secure hold.

The trade-off is that this is a dedicated accessory rather than a universal skin. It is designed around select Fischer skis, and in return you get a fit and attachment system made for them, with a mohair and nylon blend tuned to balance grip and glide.

This skin is for nordic backcountry skiers on wider touring skis who want real climbing help on steep pitches without moving to an alpine touring setup. Compatible models include the Fischer S-Bound 98 and S-Bound 112.

Fischer sizes these skins by ski length, in 169cm, 179cm and 189cm versions, with the skin spanning the full length of the ski. Match the skin length to your ski length for the best coverage.
