The Voile Endeavor BC is a narrow, light backcountry ski with Voile's Traction Pattern BC scales underfoot. The waist runs 78 to 86mm depending on length, and it is built on an early rise camber profile with a poplar core and Voile Carbon-Weave.
The scales grip when you weight the ski and glide as you stride, so you can cover rolling terrain without stopping to skin up. The trade-off is that scales add a little drag on the descent and in sticky snow, and steep or icy climbs still call for skins.
It suits skiers who cover distance: long approaches, meadow skipping, exits along creek drainages and tours where the terrain rolls more than it climbs. It is also compatible with telemark bindings as well as AT, which makes it a great fit for free-heel skiers.
Width and radius scale with length so each size skis consistently. Pick your usual touring length, and size down if you want quicker turns in trees.
For mellow tours, long days on the move and anyone who loves covering ground, the Endeavor BC is a wonderfully efficient ski.

This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
