The Look Pivot 18 GW is the high-DIN version of Look's legendary freeride binding, built for big, strong skiers and hard landings.
An all-metal Race toe piece offers 45mm of elastic travel and 180 degrees of multidirectional release, and the turntable heel rotates directly under the tibia with 28mm of elastic travel for shock absorption. The trade-off is that its high DIN range is more than most recreational skiers need.
The Pivot has the shortest mounting zone of any alpine binding, cutting swing weight and preserving a consistent ski flex, and seven points of contact keep the boot locked in.
GW means it works with both alpine and GripWalk soles. This one has a 75mm brake for narrower skis, so check your ski waist with us before mounting.
For expert skiers who want maximum retention and the smoothest ride in the business, the Pivot 18 is an awesome binding.
