Air 9 2 Star Hard Tail Bike - In Box Silver/ Baja Blue L

The Niner AIR 9 2-Star is an aluminum 29er hardtail built for trail riding. It runs a 120 mm suspension fork, a 68 degree head angle, disc brakes and room for 2.4 inch tires, and the frame is single-speed capable.

The trade-off with any hardtail is comfort on chunky, rooty descents. Without rear suspension you feel more of the trail, and you have to pick your lines. What you get back is a lighter, simpler bike that climbs efficiently, needs less maintenance and teaches you to ride smooth.

It is a great fit for riders who spend their time on Vermont singletrack, mix in gravel road connectors and want one dependable bike that does a bit of everything. Riders who want to charge steep, technical descents all day will be happier on a full-suspension bike.
